We settled in Syracuse, New York where we raised our daughter, Gerin and our son, Michael. Now we are also grandparents to Matthew and Madison. After retiring from teaching first grade I began to dabble in embroidering shirts for the grandkids. A lot of trial and error during that time but eventually gained enough confidence and skill to launch Candy Cane Clothing Company.

We started to do craft shows and met so many wonderful people and word began to spread. The nice thing about a home based business is that it is portable. So when we decided to move to Mandeville, Louisiana to be closer to the grands, Candy Cane Clothing Company came with us. Southern Hospitality is a real thing and we are extremely grateful for the warm welcome we have received.
